Vice President, Sales

Cold Creek Technologies seeks to add a VP of Sales to its senior management team to accelerate the growth and market penetration of Metis, our world-beating enterprise digital media reporting, testing, and analytics platform. Based in New York, and reporting to the CEO, the VP will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing new clients, as well as driving increased revenue from the existing client base.

  • A results-oriented team builder with a proven track record of expertise in identifying opportunities, setting priorities, and executing strategies resulting in new client acquisition and revenue growth
  • Deep knowledge of and a passion for digital media and its enabling technologies including strong working knowledge of data-driven display, SAAS technology, marketing analytics, and the broader online media marketplace
  • Team player with solid combination of presentation and listening skills

Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively grow sales and hit revenue and new-customer targets
  • Define and communicate a clear strategy for sustained growth, pinpointing the optimal combination of short-term wins and long-term opportunities
  • Build the new business pipeline while maintaining an accurate forecast of revenue potential
  • Understand and evaluate potential customers and the investment required to close and support those deals contributing to strategic growth or transactional revenue, ensuring a focus on the most valuable prospects and opportunities
  • Close new business and capture increased revenue from existing customers andrelationships
  • Build, train, mentor, and educate a high-performing sales team in conjunction with revenue growth
  • Build a seamless process from pre-sales to customer deployment, capturing strategic objectives, needs, and future potential
  • Develop clear internal reporting structures for sales efforts to ensure company growth is maximized, and that opportunities are tracked

Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years experience in online/digital/display advertising in outbound sales (preferably ad serving, DSP, DMP, data, exchanges, SaaS or SEM)
  • Strong track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
  • Self-starter with a diligent work ethic and results orientation
  • Knowledge of the online media business and underlying technology and research – Know the Lumascape and have solid contacts within Lumascape companies
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, including the ability to create and build strong and sustainable relationships
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills coupled with a quick mind
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in sales leadership with focus on mentoring, training, team building, coaching, and growing teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree
